I bought a Dell laptop running Windows 7. I can download but not install iTunes. I have tried turning off the pop-up blocker and suspending Norton Antivirus' firewall. Any suggestions? I can't access my full iTunes account that shows previous purchases. And when I plug in my iPod Touch and my new iPad, the computer recognizes them but nothing happens with the iTunes website.

I only get the message from Apple saying Thank you for downloading iTunes. The pop-up from the computer that asks if you want to run or save never appears. The shortcut appears on the desktop but the program does not show up in the list of installed programs in the control panel.

Are you using Internet Explorer for the download?

If no joy there, try switching off any pop-up blockers or web accelerators you may have running. (They can also interfere with downloads in this sort of way.)
