I have as yet not rented a movie, brand new ATV joining in the update fiasco!

I note that you have successfully watched a downloaded movie.

Did you stream it direct or download it to iTunes and watch it at your convenience?

My broadband connection isn't the fastest, so I would prefer to download it.

Any tip to prevent to prevent "This film has been authorised to play on another device" or somesuch would be appreciated.

Here in Ireland, I think I have 48 hours to watch it again, and quite an appreciable length of time for the initial viewing.

Thank you,

Tom

I streamed it direct, my broadband is only 2.5Mb/sec, the movie was supposedly HD(I'm a liitle dubious) there was only about 20 seconds wait at the start before it began and then it was away without any buffering for the complete movie. I just streamed it again for the second time I watched it! Not sure how to download it etc. But there are a few other discussions about the questions you asked above. Good Luck!
