[Urgent] All apps crash after 10.6.8 update

Post one of the crash reports for us to review.

It may hold some clues.

Try deleting the Cache files. That helped me when my mac was acting up a little after the update.

Definitely post a crash report. But you might also try applying the combo update, as a possible solution.

And this might be an occasion where repairing Permissions might be helpful. (Although, if non-Apple apps are crashing as well, it's unlikely to help.)

I have the same problem after the 10.6.8 update.

I use Prallels desktop as well and I thought intially that Parallels might have to update their software to fit with this update.

But even when I don't use Parallels the macbook pro is crashing !!
