From FCP X, I click on Share and select Apple Devices or Facebook. Share Monitor starts and runs into error. FCP says 'Final Cut Pro generated an error or unexpectedly quit'. FCP didn't quit. It is still active. Any suggestions ?

Not sure about this 'solution'. But after a few tries, I noticed that FaceBook feature works only when "Background Rendering' is selected to 'This Computer'. Screen shot:

EXCELLENT worked for me too. Not sure why now Share Monitor is launching, and why I needed to set it... but glad I can now export.
Apple needs a bettor error code for this.
I was able to get rid of the error by quitting Share Monitor before opening FCPX. If I do this, then I don't need to change Background Rendering to 'This Computer'.
Share Monitor still automatically opens when sharing a project, I just need to remember to quit it when I quit FCPX...
