how to find WPA key on airport?

Hi,

I just moved in my new apartment and my roommate has an airport router. He does not remember is WPA key (but remembers the password to connect). The thing is, I'm trying to connect my PS3 to the wifi connection and it asks for the WPA key...

Is there an easy way to retrieve the WPA key?

Thanks so much in advance!

Thank you for your answer Bob. The reason I was asking in the first place was because he asked me to take care of it. Moreover, he is not good in english (we are from Canada and we are french native speakers).

If you need any details regarding the computer or the router, let me know and I will be able to check it out.

Thanks again for your help and I hope we'll be able to fix this soon :)

On the MacBook.....

Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility

Click Manual Setup

Do not look at the window in the center of the screen. Instead, shift the focus of your eyes to top edge of the computer screen.

To the right of the Apple icon, locate the Base Station Menu and click on it.

Click Equivalent Network Password and the "key" will be revealed. Of course, there is no guarantee that this will work because we do not know if the PC is compatible with the type of wireless security that is being used by the Apple router.
