Recently married - combine Itunes?

We recently were married and have separate accounts. Much like if they were CDs, we want to combine our existing purchases and buy our music together in the future. Since you can have more than one device on itunes and people do this all the time, I don't see why this would be a problem.However, I am having trouble finding out how to do it. I know we can have two accounts on the same computer, but that doesn't seem to help when trying to download to our devices. Please advise. Thanks.

Shelley, Congrats on your wedding.

Create a combined library by adding both of your content into a single iTunes library.

For future purchases from iTunes, pick the one account you will both be using, and start using it.

Do not forget the password of the other account, because even if you make no further purchases with it, you will need it (forever) to authorize content that was already purchased with it.
