iTunes 10.3.1 pops up with Accessing iTunes Store every second

When trying to type something into the upper right search field in iTunes 10.3.1, it pops up with the "Accessing iTunes Store" after every single letter I try to type in. It makes it so even writing a single word takes like a full minute. The previous version of iTunes had just started doing it too. I updated to 10.3.1 hoping that it would fix it, but it didn't.
