Help! ipod dead and nothing reviving. Not recognised by itunes but I recently purchsed a whole load of music from itunes but it wasn't in my computer based library - my account history shows it, is there any way I can reinstall these songs to my itunes?

Yes. All purchased items from iTunes are now stored in the cloud.
1) Just go to your iTunes preferences
2) under "store" make sure "music, apps, and books are all CHECKED".
3) press OK and all your purchased items should be in your Itunes now
Moreover you need the LASTEST iTunes download
