How to change iCloud email address?
I entered a test address when setting up iCloud, but now cannot find out how to change this to the email I would like with the @me.com ending. Any ideas?

Short of changing to a new Apple ID and iCloud account your only option is to set up an email alias, which is an additional address (not account), then set up a Rule sending all messages to the original address to the Trash. Information on aliases here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a490a ; to set up a Rule click the cogwheel icon at bottom left of the Mail page at icloud.com and choose 'Rules'.
Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.
More information on aliases here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a490a
Apple is the only one who can fix this issue. There is nothing we can do on our end besides rule and alias work arounds. However, Apple may fix this issue if enough people report it to them directly. You can submit feedback on iCloud here. Make sure you select mail under "Feedback Type". Tell Apple you should be able to change your primary @iCloud/@me email address and then talk about your specific case.
crazy_ivan, I tried that, but my troublesome iCloud address was not shown on my apple ID account. I am not going to spend any more time on this. I gather Apple support will not change the misspelt address, so I have created an alias, and will live with it.
Thanks, but I am trying to change the newly created email address that was setup when signing up for iCloud. It is listed under my login with my old primary email address which is tied to my iTunes. The one I want to change ends in the @me.com extension. This is not editable on the iPad, and also does not show up yet as an email under Manage my account. Two emails from Apple already, but they are giving me similar suggestions as you. Maybe I need to wait foe the Beta to end.

For the record, you are not allowed to change your iCloud email address once it has been created, now that we all have access to it.
Doubtful - what would you do if that email address went away...
I was facing the same issue. I was able to resolve it by going to Settings > iCloud. At the very bottom, there is an option to 'Delete Account'. It sounds much more dire than it really is. It simply breaks the connection with your device and the iCloud set up for that email. Delete Account, then head back into Settings > iCloud. You will be prompted to enter new information, and your problem should be solved.
Matt's solution doesn't work for me. All I can do is to sign out. :-/
You are right, Matt's does not work. You can delete the account, but when you try to log back in with your old Apple ID, it just brings that same mistyped email address back under the Advanced, then Mail settings of the iCloud Account. I finally just set it up as a new Apple ID, but this will cause issues downt he road I am sure, unless they let you merge two or more Apple ID's. Thanks anyway for trying Matt.
I unfortunately had a typo when entering my email address and after being unable to delete the account tried to register the typo account. Unfortunately the typo account is already assigned to someone. Now I have my iCloud account link to a mail account that is not mine and I have no way of changing these details. very frustrating. Any ideas how to change the email?
thanks
I have the same problem... I sure hope it's possible to edit the email accont associated with my icloud account.
