You can clone your OS X system to the new computer, but not unless you are running the same OS version on both. 10.4.9 will not work on the new computer. Your new computer may come with a special build of 10.6.7 which will not work on the MP since it is a machine specific version of OS X.

You can migrate your data to the new computer using the Setup Assistant that will appear when you start the new computer for the first time. The two computers need to be connected using a FW800 cable and the MP must be started into TDM - Transferring files between two computers using FireWire.

You may be able to do a clone of the Windows partition using CopyCatX 5.0.

Your laptop is not going to like the hardware abstraction drivers, never a good idea in the Windows world without utility tools and having Windows already on the new computer. And deactivate/activate.

Use Windows Easy Transfer and make sure to copy hidden AppData as well and reinstall Windows and applications and drivers.

New MBP will have different graphics, likely 10.6.8 already.

Put your hard drives in USB/FW type case. You can try to boot OS X off external no issue.
