Unimported photo - how to stop this message

Hello, I have Iphoto 11version 9.1.3.

Each time I start Iphoto, I am told that "9 photos have been found in the iPhoto library that were not imported - would you like toimport them?" Whether I say yes or no it creates a folder in my librarycalled "Iphoto Library Recovered photo_x”. There is no photo in this file. How do I keep this thing from happening, this is a bite annoying?

I looked on internet for proposed solutions(like "Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed") but it does not work for me......Could you please help me.Thx
