Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
After 10.6.8. update on my Macbook Air - Dock not showing, no switch from app to app using ther tab key and Expose is not working.
Anybody has a work around or fix? Gave feedback to Apple already.

If you run Parallels, this could be involved. Although it shows as high dock cpu, it has also caused missing docks.

Yep, Thanks I run Parallels and already deactivated it. Still same problem.
You might have to take the "shotgun" approach and delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist and restart. This will set the dock back to "factory" settings so you'll need to reapply any changes.

I'm having the same issue and have been having numerous other issues; however, I'm not sure if it's the 10.6.8 update that caused the trouble.

yep, this fixed it, thanks for the tip. My Macbook was nearly bricked by this issue, no doc and slow as all get out. the steps on the parallel site fixed it. Hope they issue any update soon.
Now my macbook air is still working on a reboot for 2 hours after the upgrade, I hope is finishes soon. I am really starting to worry it got bricked with this upgrade. It does not have parallels on it.
