OS X 10.6.8 bluetooth keyboards need pairing on each start

From install of 10.6.8, my BT keyboard (Logitech DiNovo Mini) has its pairing ignored on startup even when made a favourite device.

This was not a problem with 10.6.7. Using Mac Mini (2010).

One workaround is to disable and re enable the bluetooth but that requires that no password is set and the mouse is wireless but not using BT.

From reading about it seems this may be occuring even for Apple Wireless keyboard, can someone confirm this.

I am having a similar problem. After upgrading Mac Mini 3.1 to OS 10.6.8, I lost connection to my Logitech dinovo edge (Mac edition) keyboard.

I've downloaded the Logitech 3.3.0 control center. Tried turning bluetooth off/on and searching for deveices. Logitech's own control SW doesn't seem to register the presence of the device.

Finally, after power-cycling the keyboard and then rescanning, it found the dinovo. (Note the dinovo does not have a wireless dongle, it is "native bluetooth" without using a dongle.)

Also, I use a Logitech wireless mouse MRBU126, which has a dedicated wireless dongle that plugs into a USB port. After upgrading to OS 10.6.8 I had to unplug and replug the dongle several times before the mouse was "found." After a system restart, the mouse was "lost" and didn't show up in the Logitech control panel. Apple bluetooth setup assistant didn't see it. Unplugging and replugging the dongle causes it to be found instantly.

Something in this OS upgrade has majorly screwed up the bluetooth configuration.
