Hi All, I know Apple snuck in a new way to remove items from the sidebar with 10.6.7, which, I finally got used to, but now with 10.6.8, some items under Places cannot be removed at all nor do they become active when I click on them. Can't get rid of them even if I go to original file, and dump it!
Anyone else having this issue?

Is there a way to "rebuild" the side bar & get rid of everything?

There is a ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
I'm not sure the effects of dumping it.
