Where are all of the master templates in Motion 5..? I just downloaded Motion from the app store, and I only see the 8 templates under "Compositions." Am I missing something??
Isn't there supposed to be more templates then this??
At the moment 'under compositions' that's your lot from Apple, 8 compositions.
However I have quite a lot more than this but from third party providers.
Something else too.
If you have a copy of FCPX, there is quite a few effects, theme templates, titles etc, in there, a lot of them. Right click on any of them and you can open a copy in Motion 5 allowing more creativity.
I have the same problemI Also downloaded Motion 5 and cant find any templates. I also cannot open Motion 4 anymore with all my templates. What must I do?
If you installed according to the recommended instructions, you can use both versions, although not at the same time. After installing, if you didn't launch Motion 4 first, before *any* other FCP app old or new, then you probably did it less than optimal. You can put both on the same boot partition. Did you run Software Update after installing? After installing Motion 5, run Software Update to download additional material.
Where are the templates?
