Only previous iPods work with the cord you plug into the wall.😟 The iPod touch 4g has more advanced technologies that don't allow the iPod touch 4g to charge with a simple plug in to plug in.

Hello, I have 32gb 4th gen iPod Touch. I have a iPod hook up in my car that charges my iPod Touch and plays the music. Today, my iPod stopped charging in the car but I can still play music. It is a problem because I spend a lot of time listening to music in the car, now my battery is draining out. It's playing music and not charging. How can this this happen? It charges fine on my comp and wall charger, just not the one in my car.

Thats weird, I'm not sure about the car charger but my iPod Touch works with a USB charger (a converter from the wall outlet to a USB) However the old version such as the wall outlet to the firewall cable does not work.

I just figured out why it won't work. The outlet is shorting in my car.

I always charge my ipod with the normal cable, the one that apple gives to you when you buy it, but recently theres a message in my screen : this accesory is not approved by apple, something like that, but Im using the original one, I dont know what is happening, right now my ipod isnt working, I cant even turn it on again, what is happening? Hey, I have a fourth gen eight gig iPod touch. A while back, my charger cord stopped working when I plugged it into my computer. I do not have a wall charger, so the computer was my only option. I then took the cord from my dad's old iPod Nano. Now this charger isn't working either. HELP !?!?

My iPod won't charger right.. I've tried 2 different chargers.

Like it'll say it's plugged in, and sometimes it will charge. But some other times, I'll leave it on the charger and not mess with it and it'll go from Green to red. I don't know what's going on, i've only had my ipod for like 6 months.
