Jun 29, 2011 8:15 PM in response to cem682by Anthony J Howe,In Motion 5, the pre-established templates, are compositions, you will see 8 of them.
To check out content, you will need to go to Motion 5 app, right click and choose 'open package contents' open the contents folder to reveal library contents folder, the extra content that you download. However not all extra content is downloaded to this folder, you can find the rest in Library-Application Support-Final Cut Pro-Templates-Compositions.
When you open In FCPX, you can find a lot of the content in there in the right hand side of the timeline known as the effects browser windows, titles, theme templates, effects, transition etc. Right clicking on any of them allows you to open a copy in Motion 5.

Jan 12, 2013 4:09 PM in response to cem682by nickwitz,Motion 5 does come with a few templates. There are some web tutorials floating around that will teach you how you can move templates from Motion 4 to Motion 5 if that's what you want. Please note, some of the templates in Motion 4 were only created in SD. Hope this helps.
