Searched for displace filter in Motion 5 but doesn't come up. Still working and visible in older projects though?
Why has Apple got rid of the displace filter? It's one of my favourites! 😟

Oh, okay. I think you can use the bump map instead which seems to produce the same effect.

I just opened up a project which using this to create a waving flag effect. In Motion 5 this effect is broken.
I think you're right Stu. Bump Map seems to doe the same thing as a displace.
Douglas, can you describe what is broken, I just tried it and it's working for me.
No Problem - Broken might have been a bit harsh. I had a ramp behaviour attached to the Displace filter and the values in the ramp behaviour were reset to zero when I opened the project in motion 5.
