what is the iphone photo resolution
When my friend loads pictures from his iPhone to his PC the resolution is poor. How does he insure that he get the maximum resolution on his PC?

That depends on what model iPhone he has. The iPhone 4 is 5 megapixels. If you use zoom, you necessarily reduce the resolution as it's strictly digital zoom.
