When can we expect a update for the Panasonic HDC-SDT750, so we can edit (or import) 1080P50 material?
At Panasonic they point to APPLE, for a solution.
And maybe a text editor in 3D? So the titles in a 3D project are 3D too??

I am sure it is important to a small majority. I do not know anyone with a 3D TV yet. For people that ask if they should buy one. I always say, "Name 10 good 3D movies. Avatar is #1" But anyway....

Just a few years ago people using HD camera´s where a small majority. If it was up to THAT consideration we would all be still filming in SD. Don't know how it is in America, but here people actually are switching to 3D real fast. It´s called progress 😉

You might want to google "3D Displays Hazardous to Young Children" Asbestos was "progress' at the time too. 😉

Google "how many killings a american kid has seen on american tv before the age of 10" i think that should concern you more. But hey, you can always save up, till you have money enough to buy a 3D set too ! 😝

Pretty sure my Panny HVX200A cost a bit more than your 3D camcorder, heck my HMC40 cost more. Also my new 58" LG HDTV is NOT 3D as I see ZERO need for it. Sorry, it is not a matter of money.
I think 3D a passing fad or but even if it is not... I do not feel like I am missing out currently. Unlike you futurist not having BluRay or DVDs and living "in the cloud". I live in reality where 40% of the people do not have high speed Internet but do have a DVD player, and are lucky to be getting their first HDTV. Us here in the colonies just were forced to switch a little over a year ago to High Def. I will re-visit these emerging technologies in 10 years or so.
