keynote troubleshooting

My keynote slideshow is stuck on the first slide. The transition is set to move automatically after two seconds, but it doesn't change until 30 seconds. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

did you open the "drawer" (in inspector) and check to make sure there's no delay assigned to any of the actual (interior) transitions on the slide?

I had it set for a 2 second delay. Once it got past the first slide, everything worked. I ended up taking the first slide out completely and then putting it back in. Thanks for the help.
