facetime gone

My 10 year old son and I had taken to communicating w/ Facetime on a regular basis, a truly important connection for the two of us, as his mother and I recently divorced.

Just the other day, he was unable to login to FT from his iPod to start a chat. After this issue, I performed a full restore on his iPod (for unrelated reasons). Facetime was gone from his apps when the pod came back online. What gives?

Since FaceTime is a default App that comes with the iPod, it cannot be deleted. This means that either it has been moved to a folder of Apps, moved to a different page, or has been disabled via Restrictions.

To check restrictions, head to Settings -> General -> Restrictions and make sure either Restrictions are off entirely or that at least FaceTime is left enabled.
