I need to print fractions such as 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4. I used to copy these from the list of special characters. Now these fractions are no longer shown. Only dingbats and such. Have fractions been dropped in the upgrade to Snow Leopard or am I looking in the wrong place?

Edit > Special Characters View = Roman, Tab = by category, Category = Digits, scroll to end of list.
If you use that repeatedly, why not set your preferences in "System Preferences" "Languages&Text" Text Tab. Self explanatory. Success, Lexxie71
What are (were) you using to supply the fractions? If it's Character Viewer, nothing has changed recently. They should all be there in "Symbols" > "Numbers and number symbols"
Lex's solution will work in most applications, though and is generally faster.
