iPod Touch 4G display problems

My iPod Touch is 6 weeks old. But today the all the visuals (icons, menus, numeric pass code) are displayed about 150% larger than normal. So I cannot access any portions that are off the screen such as my 4-digit login code. The "enter" button is off the screen as well as bottom numbers. If I had a wider screen I would be ok, but it's a fixed screen. I have rebooted it and for 2 seconds it appears normal, so I raced to enter my 4-digit login. It worked then immediately gets too big for the screen. What can I do? What's wrong with this?
