I downloaded several free items from iTubes U and now I can 't find them on my iPad. Where are they?

The music is a stock app from Apple on the iPad you do have one. On the iPhone they do lable it iPod, but on the iPad and iPod touch it's borken up into Music and Movies.
The iTunes app is only the store, you can buy/download songs/iTunes U from there. You need to use the Music app for play back. the icon looks like this:
I had the same issue.
Connect device (I have iPad) to computer (MacBook Pro).
Launch iTunes
Select device (iPad)
Select iTunes U (across top)
::Summary/Info/Apps/Ringtones/Music/Movies/TV Shows/Podcasts/iTunesU/Books
Select the check box for Sync iTunes U
I don't have an iPad but on the iPhone I have an iPod app with an icon like this - http://aux.iconpedia.net/uploads/357498668.png
In the iPod app there's an iTunes U section where all the downloads are listed.

Thanks for your help, I definitely don't have the music icon. I have the iTunes and IPod icons.
I synced iTunes on my PC with my iPad. The downloads appear on iTunes on the PC but can't find them on the IPad.
Only music is on the iTunes app icon, nothing else.
No options for other content. I'm going to
Look closer at iTunes On my PC tomorrow and see where it is saved.
Maybe call the support help desk.

iTunes U downloads are stored in the Videos App. Select the iTunes U tab at the top :)
You can also perform a search for your downloads' (using a partial name will work) by swiping your iPad or iPod screen from the left to the right until you see the search screen.

In the Music App on the iPad, click the "More..." button and you should see options for podcasts and iTunes U.
I don't have a"MusicApp". I onlyhave iTunes and under the music tab I don't see a "more" button.
Should I download a music app?
You have an iPod icon on an iPad? okay, that's where you will find all you music/iTunes U. Again think of the iTunes app on the iPad as just the iTunes Store. iPod app has all the playback options.
I made some adjustments in settings menus. I might have had auto downloads turned off.

Went to the music app, then selected more like it was suggested and the only choices I have is Genres and Composers. How can I get my ItunesU. As a teacher I really depend on these.
.. Just so that you know that you're not going crazy :) I believe the Music app is only available on iOS v5 - if you have not upgraded you OS; you'll not have this App available.
Much appreciated and I'd also had problems locating mu iTunes U and there they were in the Videos App. Thanks.
