Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

I have junk emails that I cannot delete. They delete in my iPhone an Mac but not on the iPad. iPad mail freezes and previously deleted emails return to inbox. What a mess. Two Genius appts and no solutions. Any others experiencing this?

Sam, I have three email accounts on the version 32G iPad: gmail (no issues) and two Verizon.net accounts ( one has no issues; the other has the cannot-delete-the-junk-mail issue). I am not using my own domain. I've also gone in to the Verizon accounts and deleted the mail (supposedly) from the server. Cannot get to them on iPhone or Mac. But by golly they are sitting in the suspect verizon.net account on the iPad.

Did you ever solve this problem? I have the same thing happening with an email from an inkjet spam. Deleted all mail off my shaw server, restored iPad, deleted and redid my email account...still can't get rid of this problem. Shuts down my mail every time I touch this email or it gets to the top of the list.


Looking for a solution!!!!

The inkjet spam email is the same one that is causing my iPad's issue! I'm having the exact same problem as you're having --touching the email or having the email at the top of the screen freezes/shuts down ipad. I've been to two Apple stores and no one seems to know what's going on, plus, they claim they haven't heard of this problem i suggested they go to the Apple Commnity to get a feel for what's going on.
