On your other mac, open up a new Finder window. On the left side, there is a section titled "Shared". Your Time Machine should appear in that list, simply click on it. If you have a password on your disk, you'll need to put that in. Otherwise, just click on the disk and it will mount on your desktop.

If you want to restore only selected items from your backups, use the Browse Other Time Machine Disks option, per #17 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.
If you want to transfer your apps and/or user accounts and home folders to the MacBook Pro, without erasing anything that's already on it, see Using Migration Assistant on Snow Leopard or Leopard.
If you want to transfer everything to the MacBookPro, erasing everything on it, so it's set up exactly like your iMac, start with the green box in Using Setup Assistant on Snow Leopard or Leopard.
