Has anyone found a way or an app that wil allow you to listen to text messages sent directly to the phone via AT&T? I have not found an app that works as of yet. I would love to be able to hear and then dictate back. This was something that was built in with a different smartphone that I had. I am thinking about switching phones because of not having this capability and the new driving laws.

If that feature is so important to you then by all means, switch to a different smartphone.
What are you doing playing with your phone at all while driving?
Settings > General > Accessibility > Voice Over > On This will speak all phone functions, primarily meant for the blind. Touch functions are changed - follow instructions.
You assume that's what I'm doing??? My children take care of my phone while I'm driving and if they are not with me it waits. Thanks for judging me.

Thanks. I'll give this a try and see if it helps. Otherwise the kids can keep reading and replying or it can wait til I pull off the road. I think I have found a way to auto reply too to let people know I'm driving and will get back to them later. Thanks again.
