My MacBook Air drops off my network practically evy time it goes to sleep for any extended period. I am then asked to rejoin the network and after that
I have to put in my administrator password so that Apple 80211 agent can make necessary changes. What is this all about...it's a new one to me and it's annoying to have to keep doing it so often.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it may have had something to do with my keychain not supplying my passwords correctly. Might want to run first aid on your keychain utility.
Exact same problem. No detailed solution? What do you mean "run first aid on your keychain utility"?
Open Ketchain Utility: GO>Utilities>Keychain Access Utility
Then under the Keychain Access Menu click on Keychain First Aid
Put in your password and click "Start" to repair your keychain config
