I was wondering what generation, specs and features of the iPod Touch model no. :- MC540E/A ?

Hey there, i just sold my iPod Touch 3G 2 weeks ago to buy a 4G one, but when i went to an apple store, i saw alot of iPod Touch models, the most expensive one was that one (MC540E/A), so i wanted to know some information about it.

so what is the difference between those iPod Touch 4G model numbers such as MC540E/A and MC540ZP/A, i'm kinda confused about those numbers by the way

It's a serial number for that specific type of iPod, from what I can gather Serial MC540E/A means it's a 4th Generation iPod 8GB.
