Quicken Essentials

I am not sure where to post this, but it seems that this is the only place I can post to. In any event, while using Quicken Essentials, I have to manually select the printer to send the checks to print to. I have it set as the default everywhere I can fine but it QE is not recognizing it as such in the printing process. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
