iPhone 4 washed in he machine

Washed my iPhone 4 over the weekend in the washing machine. Phone went through full wash cycle (he machine). My steps to a perfect working iPhone.

  1. Take back off phone by removing 2 screws at bottom of phone. Leave battery in. Remove SIM fast so no calls or pushed emails received. Do not touch any buttons at all. Do not attempt to turn off.
  2. Get hair dryer and set to high heat.
  3. LCD facing floor hold hair dryer approx. 6-8 inches away from phone sway dryer back and forth and cont. for 15 min. (phone gets really hot)
  4. Within min. use compressed air and blow all areas of back of phone, bottom and top as well.
  5. Repeat hair dryer step 3 again.
  6. Place in zip lock bag with rice. Place sealed back in sealed plastic food container. Leave phone alone for 24 hours.
  7. Remove phone from rice and apply step 3 again (with hair dryer set to lowest heat setting). Then repeat step 6 again for 24 hours.
  8. After 48 hours repeat step 3 again (with hair dryer set to lowest heat setting) for 45 min.
  9. Place iPhone safely over lamp shade (approx. 5-6 inches away from 40w bulb) and leave for 12 hours.
  10. Turn on phone and good luck. Worked perfectly for me. Phone syncs, calls in/out no problem, music fine, app store downloads fine, gets/sents email.
