Is there a problem using apple TV with an HDMI switch

I tried a Psyclone HDMI switch with an ATV2 and it would not work.

I had an Octava and it works fine.

Basically, most switches should work, but some will have issues.

My TV has 3 HDMI slots but the 3rd one is in front so I considered using a switch so I wouldn’t have a wire running out the front of my TV. I went to NewEgg's web site and user reviews were really helpful in pinpointing which ones did work with the AppleTV. In the end I chose a very flexible cable and Demeled the front hatch of the TV.

I’ve been looking for a flexible HDMI cable.
