Cannot change song information

I just loaded in a new album into iTunes 10 and I cannot change the song information for some of the songs.

When I first tried to change track info, none of the tracks would change. I right clicked my music folder and made sure I had read & write access, which I did. Then, just to be on the safe side I ran chmod -R 777 Music/ to change the permissions for everything in my Music folder to be writable by everyone. After restarting iTunes, I then found I could change the track information for just some of the new songs I added, but not others.

I have no idea what else I should be doing...
