hi people my ipod touch 4 will not work with either of my routers (dlink and linksys) but my two laptops work fine. when i go to saffari it says the server stopped responding. please help

one more thing is that everything appears to be corrent under wifi setting
Head to Settings -> Wi-Fi and click the > next to the network you are connected to. Is anything listed for an IP address, Subnet/Netmask, and Gateway?

That's okay. What is listed for an IP address? It's not in the 169.x.x.x range is it? If it isn't, try tapping the renew lease button at the bottom. This should force your iPod to pick up a new IP address via DHCP from your wireless router.
If that doesn't work, try resetting your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Also reset your iPod Touch by pressing both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

i reseted both my routers to factory settings and i reseted all network settings on ipod
Are you using WPA or WEP security with your router? If your network is password protected, are you absolutely certain you are entering in the proper password?
What make and model is your router? I see that you have a DLink and Linksys but what models? You may need to consult their documentation for more assistance.
Can the Touch still connect to other Wi-Fi networks okay?

there is no security. my main router is a D-LINK DIR-628 and my secondary Is a linksys WRT something

Well if that is the case, then you know the problem lies with your router. Like I mentioned above, consult each router's documentation for more assistance in troubleshooting this issue.

i have called dlink support and linksys support numerous times and they were no help. i bought four different routers and none worked with our two ipods
Have you tried bringing these iPod's into your local Apple store/Genius Bar to see if there is anything they can do for you?
I don't really know how to help you here. Sounds like you are out of options, unless you aren't configuring any of these routers properly to allow your iPod Touches to connect to them.
