Anyone? Question is very time sensitive, so any help would be appreciated!!
There are many many many ways to do this
here is one

you'll have to adapt it to fcpx
Try the effect called Censor. You can change it from pixelate to blur.
True ! lol
For some reason the 'censor' option isn't showing up! I went to the help tab and followed the directions, however the only option that's missing is 'censor'. How do I reveal this option?
You should be able to find the CENSOR effect in your effects browser under stylize
I don't see a 'stylize' tab. Under "effects" I see the following:

There are several effects with which you can obscure a portion of the picture.
That said, I only know of how you can manually keyframe it. I've yet to find a way to do motion tracking in X.
Hey, SimplePickup:
Those screen shots are not from the Effects browser. Those are from the Inspector in the upper right corner of the interface. The Effects browser is in the lower right panel. You reveal it by clicking the Effects button on the bar in the middle (among the buttons on the right side). Poke around and you'll find it. When you do, look for the Censor filter in the Stylize group.
THANKS!
