HP L1908 Monitor doesn't show 1440 x 900 resolution.

I'm using HP L1908 Monitor. My Leopard doesn't show 1440 x 900 resolution. i need to reset PRam everytime i on my mac to get correct 1440 x 900 resolution. What should i do?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
