how to get text row to split across pages if too large

I have some very large text segments that should fit on a page as long as possible then should just spilt to roll over to next page.

But numbers is forcing the row to the next page without trying to fill the remainer of the first page.

I cannot find any setting anywhere in the inspector, styles or anywhere. Where should I be looking for this and what should I be calling it. Or better yet, how

ot do this in numbers if it can be done.

Thank you,

Numbers won't let a column (or a row) cross a page boundary.

Set the cell to wrap text, and set the column width to fit onto the page. If necessary, you can change the page margins.

Text placed in a Text box (rather than in a table cell) can cross page boundaries, but the result isn't very appealing as no attention is paid to words (or even letters—see line 4) as a unit not to be split.
