Ibook crashing

Perhaps there was a bad download.

You should be able to delete the book in iBooks. You can always redownload your purchases from the iBookstore.

SwagMonster - Who is the publisher of the book you downloaded that is causing you problems? I ask because I'm now having a similar issue with a HarperCollins book that I sampled, then subsequently downloaded last night. I have seen some commonality between threads/ forums that I've been searching in that HarperCollins books have an issue of some kind. I hesitant to try to buy another book from a different publisher as I downloaded a book I had purchased previously but that wasn't on my iPad, and that one won't open as well now (not HarperCollins). Though anything that was already on my iPad before the HarperCollins download is working fine from what I can tell.

I have been having this problem also, and restoring from a backup is not exactly an elegant solution to this problem. I have tried deleting and redownloading the book, all to no avail.

Having the same problem from a book purchased from ebury publishings. Not happy having just spent 7.49

Seems to crash after a couple of seconds opening the book in portrait, but instantly if it's upright.

I am also having this exact same problem. I downloaded Storm of Swords by George R Martin, everytime I open it it crashes. It's driving me nuts.
