Only 3000 tracks on my iPod Touch 32GB and now it's full. How come??

I bought my iPod Touch only two weeks ago.

Then I started to upload all my cd's.

But now I'm only halfway and I have run out of free space on my iPod.

There's only 3225 tracks on my iPod and there's just over 80 MB left.

I bought this version of iPod because I thought it would be possible to put over 7000 tracks on it.

What could be the problem??

When the iPod is connect to its computer, go to the Summary pane for the iPod in iTunes. Thee is a bar graph showing how the storage is used. See if there is anything unusual using up storage such as a larger "other". The other should be less than 0.25 GB.

To fit more songs, again go to the summary pane and check the box that says convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps ACC
