I personally like the nano because it is so small and compact. I am amazed that they could fit all this technology into such a small package. The only thing I am worried about is it breaking in my pocket. The video iPod is much bigger so it can store the hard drive in it.
All of you nano owners listen up. THere is a competition holding up and seems like The Ipod video is winning. For it's perfect look, out standing features, and styling taste. It is competing against the very thin ipod nano, which features a complete Ipod. What is your opinion of these 2 very outstanding featured ipods?

I wouldn't call it a competition. I think which iPod you buy really depends on what you need it for. If you want to store massive amounts of pictures and music, You want the Video iPod. The video iPod has the added feature of playing videos, obviously. The problem is you can put on your hours of DVDs but you can only play them for 2.5 hours.

You're right, the ipod nano IS smaller. But there are smaller mp3's that are extrememly tiny. There is not use for the pictures on the nano, so why not just buy the small mp3? that is my question to u daniel
i really like the pictures on the nano it is really cool. Although the pictures are small, they can still be shown to other people. I have been putting pictures onto my nano so I can show my friends. I understand that the video iPod has a larger screen, but it also appears large and potentially cumbersome. That is why i chose to buy the nano instead of getting an additional $50 to buy the video iPod.
I won my iPod Nano. If I had the choice I'd have picked the iPod video and just paid a bit more for it. I'd definitely go with the 60GB Video but like they said, it really depends on what you want it for, you could use the 60GB as an external HD or as a media player.
