Plugins Disappear on double click

Hello.

I am having problems with the channel strips in logic, specifically with the inserts… So this is what happens... I startup Logic Pro 9.1.4 32bit mode (as always) and everything runs fine for about 5 minutes. After this short period of time the inserts go crazy… When I double click on any insert it deletes the plugin form my channel strip. This happens in every channel and every insert I click on… further more, once this happens I can't load any plugin in any channel strip, the drop menu with the plugin list does not even appear, instead, the whole channel strip starts flickering…

I should add that this computer is a brand new Mac Pro 12 Core and has barely anything else installed but logic pro. It's used only in my recording studio as the main computer.

I have no idea of what could be wrong but I'm scared to death about this problem and it's affecting my business so please give me a hand on this one.

Thanks

Mikki

Good to know I'm not alone on this one! Unfortunately I have not found a way to fix this and it's frustrating, so I've been working 5 minutes at a time saving constantly and restarting Logic Pro every few minutes.

What computer and other pieces of gear have you connected?

I'm using a Mac Pro with Two 2.66GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon “Westmere” (12 cores) running the latest Snow Leopard OS (gonna wait a few days on Lion, I don't want more surprises)
I'm using 2 MOTU 896 mk3 as audio interface, an emagic unitor 8 midi interface with a few keyboards and a axiom pro 49 via USB working as a control surface.

I doubt it's got anything to do with our external hardware but it's good to check... I was using the same stuff on a different computer before this one, and everything worked fine...

Let me know what they say in your trouble shooting.

I had the same problem, tried on different hardware so it's no hardware issue at all, and it happens only after a while I use Logic, not every time (I'd say quite randomly), and once it appears the only thing to do is restarting Logic (closing and reopening the project will not do it).

Not a major problem but for sure a bug to be addressed soon...
