iMac 27" SSD 2TB (2nd hdd not usable on standard user account).

I usually have a blank Admin account installed and then a standard user account which i use for my day to day tasks and use as my main account in the event something were to happen to the admin account. Alittle overkill I suppose but sort of what im working with.

Now on the 27" iMac with dual drives ssd as the Main OS drive and the 2TB secondary drive.

Under a standard user account there is a pencil with the line through it (the restricted icon aka cannot write to). When I righted clicked the drive and selected Get Info the "Ignore ownership on this drive" was disable. Is that normal behavior?

Should i enable t it and that will allow the the drive to be accessible on the standard user account?
