As far as I know, you can have only one app running at a time, unless your phone and the other app you want to use, are supporting multitasking. See this article for more info: iOS 4: About multitasking

Radar detection? What app actually does that? The only app I've seen for that is a fake.
There's no "radar detector" hardware in the iPhone.
