Yes. If you prefer you can also restore the device to factory settings when you connect to iTunes. In the Summary tab in iTunes - click on Restore - and you will get the option to restore to factory settings - out of the box condition.
Connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, click on your iPad name on the left side, click on the summery tab in the main iTunes window, click on restore.
I REALIZE THIS IS AN OLD QUESTION BUT, THE PAD KEEPS ASKING FOR A FORGOTTEN ID AND PASSWORD.
HOW DO I COMPLETELY WIPE EVERYTHING? ALL DATA BACKED UP JUST NEED TO TOTALLY RESET.
