Is there an easy way to move mailboxes from my Mac to MobileMe?

Is there an easy way to move mailboxes from my Mac to MobileMe?

I spent quite a bit of time this past weekend doing it one by one and thought there must be a better way. I have alot of emails in Mail "On my Mac" [not on mobile me] because of moving mboxes from one program to Mail. They are all there in "On my Mac" but I want some [all?] of them in "MobileMe" - I have the accounts set up right, current email is coming in just fine, but these older emails are not on MobileMe but I do want them there.

Is there any way to accomplish this short of doing it, as I did last time, one by one???

Are they messages that were addressed to your MobileMe account?

You should be able to either create a new folder to be on the MobileMe server, and then select all the messages in any one On My Mac mailbox and move them. I would personally use the Move To command in the pull-down under Messages to do this, but they can be dragged en mass.

No - they are messages in mailboxes from an older pop account that I have converted to IMAP and while I don't need all , I do need some = I can try the Move command - that might work enough. Thanks.

Not sure about the sensibility of putting messages with a non-MobileMe address in the folders on the MobileMe servers. But I think it works, if memory of a test I once did is correct.

I followed the instructions to set up this account to be read as an IMAP account via Mail - the Q is what about older [pre-Mail email] that I still want to be able to access. I have, so far, been able to move one-by-one some of the smaller mailboxes and that seems to be okay - I will just keep plugging along it's not something that needs to be done fast, just wanted an easier way. But better to do it carefully. Thanks much.

You should not be moving a mailbox, but only messages between an On My Mac mailbox and a folder on the IMAP server that you newly create.

I didn't know that = I'll do that and I'm sure it'll go smoothly from here on = luckily I have been able to move the mailboxes but that is probably just luck.
