Reset it. The same thing happened to me and even though it was a hastle i still got every single app and song I had bought by going logging in to my Apple ID then clicking: App Store>Updates>Purchased>Not on this iPod (which is going to be every app that you bought but haven't synced onto your iPod touch/iPhone yet). To get the songs, click: iTunes>Purchased>Music for songs and iTunes>Purchased>TV Shows for TV shows and movies. Hope this helped.

P.S. This answer took 5 minutes to type and I have no points so please say I answered the question 🙂 thanks

I have the new ipad 3 and the last few days the updates for apps and apps themselves will not download, just go on the page and sit there. when I try to download, it just says unable to download app.

Have shut down the ipad by holding the off button, and restarting, downloaded all updates on itunes to no avail. Latest updates are in. Still have to the 15th to return said ipad, not impressed.

This is the 32 gig black wifi only model and have the problem with dropped signal as well. Using my home wifi capable of 10 mps and I get this.

Any solutions to this???

Having the same problem with all my iOS devices (iPhone 4, iPad 2&"3"). When trying to download a app it shows "loading" just until 50% then it starts again several times. After that the Message "App can not be loaded" ("App kann nicht geladen werden", german version) is displayed.

Tried to reset the iPad 2 without backup. But even this didn't help.

I suppose it's a problem with the apple servers because so many people have problems downloading apps at the moment!?

New idea: because some guys said its a problem with downloading other stuff in the background, I searched my iTunes app and found some pending music downloads that where automatically added by iTunes Match while listening music. Could this be a problem with iTunes Match downloading the music "stream" in the background (even if not listening to music while downloading the apps)??? I now deleted the pending downloads and will look if this solves the problem.
