Issues with uploading images with Safari

I cannot longer upload images to a photo site from Safari. I still can do it to other photo sites, but to this one in particular, it seems like nothing works. Is Safari the one to blame here? I can upload images to facebook, blogspot, flickr, you name it...but not to this other particular pay photo site. It's frustrating to see how Safari works for every other site and not for them. I have tried almost everything:

1- Reseting Safari

2- Emptying its cache

3- Cleaning up my Java Script Preferences and key Chain certificates associated with such site

4- Un-checking "block pop-up" in Safari

You name it...

Does anyone has any idea why could this be happening? I cannot understand how Safari would just not allow me to upload images to one particular photo site while I can upload away at all those other sites...

I tried uploading to that particular site from my PC using Firefox and it worked perfectly, which also makes me believe there's gotta be something wrong with safari and THIS OTHER particular photo site.

Help please. Thank you!

Are you running any ad blockers / proxy servers / Internet malware filters (that are not included with Mac OS X)? I have had similar problems with I had protection way up too high. I had to whitelist the site I was trying to upload to, or in some cases turn off my proxy completely before the transfer would go through.

Perhaps a third party Safari add on is responsible.

Go to your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.

Deselect: Enable plug ins.

Quit then relaunch Safari. Try uploading images.

Could you upload to that site before, or never?

If it only started to happen with Safari 5.0.5, it sounds as if that particular site has a problem with the newest Safari. You could try clearing that site's cookies (or all cookies) to see if that helps.

(Always try the smallest, easiest thing first.)

Yes, I used to be able to upload to this site for 2 years without major issues. Suddenly, that has stopped working for me from Safari. I am also inclined to believe "they" might be the ones having problems with the newest Safari. I deleted all their cookies and tried again unsuccessfully.

That make sense, only that they use java for their uploader to work,...I must have that option checked.

No, I am not running any third party protection. Could it be one of my settings? Could the latest "Software Update" altered my former settings? If so, why can I still upload images to any other sites (e.g.: Flickr, Blogspot, Facebook, printing labs, etc) without any issues? Why only one java-based particular site?

Don't know if this is related, but it is known that the most recent Mac OS X Java update did screw up some applications. If you installed this, I wonder if it screwed up your site uploading too.

I believe you are right on the money, Network 23...the problems started right after running my "Software Update". I am so sick and tired of this BS...one runs updates to "stay in the game" not to look like total losers.

Has anybody heard anything from Apple with this regard?

Does anybody know what the deal is with such java update?
