How to turn my calendars into delegates?

I've just started using Google Calendar. So I've recently tried to sync it with my iCal through CalDAV. I've noticed that the events from my iCal can't be synced with my Google Calendar, only the calendars displayed as "Delegates".

Questions:

1) Is it possible to convert my iCal calendars/events into a "Delegate"?

OR - 2) Is there another way I can add my iCal calendars/events to my Google Calendar? I've tried to import it but achieved no success. It said "Unable to process your iCal/CSV file..." . So, maybe importing iCal calendars and events is the solution but I'd be glad to hear from someone who actually succeed on such enterprise.
