Midi values reset

I'm working with a bass track, and I use the pitch wheel to band notes, but when I start in the middle of a bend it will sound all bent out of shape. Is there a way to reset it self the moment I hit play?

The thing is that when you stop Logic and the bass is in the middle of a pitch bend and start it again it won't catch up, and it will just start playing in some other wacky key, until the pitch normalizes and then were back to normal. I remember back in the day on my Atari Notator was able to do what I'm asking here.

Yes, go to the Project Settings ->Midi->Chase and uncheck the Pitch Bend box (which is ticked by default and causes your issue).
